Charles Pace, 66, of Apalachicola, passed away Tuesday, June 30, 2020 at Gulf Coast Regional Medical Center in Panama City, with his wife Martha and daughter Jennifer by his side.
He was preceded in death by his father Mohr Pace, mother Audrey Linton, and brothers Jerry Linton and John Pace Sr.
He is survived by his wife of 25 years Martha Pace; daughter Jennifer (Nick) Mariano, and stepdaughter Tina (Dale) Nabors. He had five grandchildren, Jessica, Christina, Jackie (Louis), Billy and Ashton; and five great-grandchildren Jayden, Austin, Ja'Kayden, Ja'Leice and Bryar.
He is also survived by his siblings Patricia (David) Ventry, Mohr (Virginia) Pace, Faye Hoard, Linda (Bob) Richardson, Betty (Ples) Messer, Gaston (Ann) Pace, Reggie Pace, April (Chuck) Smith, along with several nieces and nephews.
Charles was the true definition of a family man. There was nothing he cherished more that making his family happy; it was his top priority. Charles was willing to help anyone in need, friend, family or a complete stranger. If he could help, he would! His personality was so vibrant and people always remember his infectious smile. Charles was loved by anyone he met.
Charles was a wonderful husband, great brother, fantastic father, phenomenal grandfather, fabulous great-grandfather and an all-around terrific person! He will be greatly missed.
Funeral services were held graveside at Magnolia Cemetery on Friday, July 3 at 11:30 a.m.
Kelley Funeral Home assisted the family.
