Mrs. Eula Mae Todd of Apalachicola went to be with the Lord on Friday, March 25 at 6 p.m.

Mrs. Todd was the daughter of the late Alto Lee Burkett and Martha Jane Burkett of Port St. Joe. She was a member of the Lord’s Body and worshiped for many years at First Pentecostal Holiness Church on Brownsville Road in Apalachicola. 

In the past few years she resided at Emerald Shores in Callaway, FL. She was named resident president of the home. She loved to play games and visit the other residents. Mrs. Todd was a loving wife, mother and friend who had the love of many people.

She is predeceased by her husband Joe L. (Bee) Todd. She is survived by her five children: David W. King of Aransas Pass, Texas, Edna Carol King of Apalachicola, Clifford Earl King of Beaufort, South Carolina, Deborah Diane Hall of Callaway, and Donald Ray King of Marietta, Georgia. She is also survived by four brothers; Donald, Jimmy and Eugene Burkett, and two sisters; Flora and Gloria. She had 24 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, as well as a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. 

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, March 29 at the First Pentecostal Church of Brownsville Road and will be presided over by Sister Roach. Expressions of sympathy may be viewed or submitted at www.southerlandfamily.com.
