Tyler Perry on Collier disappearances: "This story made me just as outraged as the George Floyd video and yet, nothing’s ever been done about it."

Media mogul Tyler Perry posted this week about the Collier County disappearances of Terrance Williams, a Black man, and Felipe Santos, an immigrant from Mexico.

Both were last seen with Collier sheriff's deputy Steven Calkins more than 15 years ago.

Perry wrote: "This story made me just as outraged as the George Floyd video and yet, nothing’s ever been done about it."

Perry's Sunday post has been shared 20,000 times.

Perry emerged as an ally for the families of the men several years ago when he offered a $100,000 reward for tips to help solve the cases.
