Car insurance prices can vary depending on where you live but if you want to pay the least amount in Florida, the Fort Myers-Naples area is where you should head.

In Southwest Florida, insurance is about $300 cheaper for an annual premium compared to the rest of Florida, where customers are paying an average of $2,058, a survey by The Zebra, an insurance search engine, reports.

So what areas will charge you the most? South Florida’s metro area of Miami, Fort Lauderdale and West Palm Beach are at the top of the list with an average of $2,687, which is a 6 percent increase from 2017, the 2019 State of Auto Insurance Report states.
