James B. “Stormy” Putnal, III, 62, passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2019 at TMH emergency room in Tallahassee.

Born Sept. 24, 1956, Stormy was a lifelong resident of Carrabelle, and has worked at Putnal Lanark Station, Lanark Village Water and Sewer, and, more recently, for Tim Saunders Enterprises LLC, for several years. He was a Son of the American Legion, and a member of the St. James-Lanark Volunteer Fire Department.

Stormy is survived by a sister, Jolene Putnal-Mock of Perry; a son, James B. "Jeremy" Putnal IV (Tonya L. Putnal), two known grandchildren, Hannah M. Putnal and Ethan T. Putnal, and two daughters whose whereabouts are not known, Sarah E. Putnal, and Kelly Rhiannon Putnal.

He is preceded in death by his father James B. "Jimmy" Putnal II, of Carrabelle, and his mother. Maxine S. Putnal-Butler also of Carrabelle.
