The Elder Care Community Council of Franklin County, Inc. (ECCC) is collecting items for the second annual New Year Basket Delivery to homebound seniors in Franklin County. There are almost 60 people on our list and we want to supply them with items that food stamps do not purchase.
The deadline has been extended to 2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 19 for the following:
Dishcloths, dishtowels, kitchen sponges/scrubbers
Dish soap or other soap
Kitchen or bathroom cleaners/disinfectants
Paper goods, such as toilet paper, paper towels, Kleenex
Zip locks, aluminum foil or plastic wrap
Toiletries, such as toothbrushes, toothpaste, washcloths, towels, soap, etc.
Small round laundry baskets or buckets to pack the items in for delivery
Cash or check made out to ECCC (tax deductible) so that we can purchase additional items to round up everyone’s baskets. These can be mailed to ECCC, PO Box 335, Eastpoint, FL 32328
We will come and pick up items, or they can be dropped off at Holy Family with Erica Head, activities coordinator between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. weekdays.
