Concerts in the Village
Enjoy a night under the stars with The Return, a Beatles Tribute that captures the very essence of the Beatles themselves, from 7-9 p.m. May 17 at the Mattie Kelly Arts Foundation’s Cultural Arts Village on Commons Drive in Destin. Bring a bottle of wine, a craft beer, snacks and a blanket or chair. Gates open at 6. Tickets are $15/adults and free to MKAF members and children 12 and under and can be purchased at the door.

Stoked Hypnotic Comedy Show
The interactive, audience participation show where you can be a hypnotic subject or participate in ESP and mentalism experiments is at 8 p.m. Sundays through Wednesdays at the Rockett Theatre at HarborWalk Village. ADSO window display
The Arts and Design Society presents the acrylic art of award-winning Terry Johnston during May. While the window art is available for viewing 24/7, office and gallery hours are 12-4 p.m. Tuesday-Friday, and the gallery, which is free to the public, is open also from 1-4 p.m. Saturday. The Art Center Gallery is at 17 First Street SE in Fort Walton Beach.

Crawfish Boil Fundraiser
Boys & Girls Clubs of the Emerald Coast’s Destin Club will have the Second Annual Crawfish Boil fundraiser cooked by local celebrity Billie Adams from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. May 19 at Harry T's in HarborWalk village. All proceeds plus any additional donations will go to benefit the Destin Club. Raffle baskets valued at more than $2,500 will be held. Tickets are $5. Little Black Dress Party
The White-Wilson Community Foundation (WWCF) will host the Ninth Annual Little Black Dress Party at 6 p.m. May 19 in the Magnolia Ballroom at Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort. This year’s theme is A Hollywood Black Tie Affair and will feature dinner, dancing, entertainment and auctions. All proceeds benefit WWCF’s community health initiatives. Artists in Action Day
Watch artists whose work is included in the Commemorations outdoor art exhibit as they install their pieces from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. May 20 at Heritage Museum in Valparaiso. Families can make out-door art together in Hidden Hollow, and visitors of all ages can also dress up as artists. A vari-ety of materials for adults and kids will be set up in two locations around the grounds allowing visitors to create their own outdoor artworks.

Let Freedom Ring/An All-American Tribute
Celebrate Americana and the heritage of the Destin harbor all summer long beginning at 6:30 p.m. every Thursday night, May 31 through Aug. 16. The all-American celebration includes a one-of-a-kind WWII Vintage Airshow, live on-stage entertainment with the Modern Eldorados, and fireworks over the Destin harbor, followed by Just Add Fire, a unique fire spinning performance. There will be Americana music videos on the Main Stage until midnight.
Summer Movie Nights
Village Baptist Church in Destin will host a family movie night showing “The Incredibles” June 2. Food trucks will be serving food for purchase beginning at 6 p.m. with movie on the lawn beginning at dusk. Be sure to bring a lawn chair, blankets, and snacks. Heritage Annual Auto Show
This family-friendly event highlights antique and classic automobiles, hot rods, and custom cars in excellent original or restored condition from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. June 9 at Heritage Museum in Val-paraiso. Grand Boulevard Farmers’ Market
The market will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. every Saturday in Grand Park in Miramar Beach between Cantina Laredo and Tommy Bahama’s. Vendors will offer locally sourced food-based items including produce, eggs, milk, butter, grass-fed beef, chicken, lamb, and pork, honey, pickled vegetables and gourmet jams.
