The Lady Seahawk soccer team wrapped up its season last month, finishing with a 2-18.
Winless in the district, the team, full of several young players, fell 4-0 Jan. 17 at Wakulla, and then on Jan. 20 lost 9-1 at Taylor County.
Coach Concepcion Ledezma said senior Michaela Cassidy started all 19 matches, and is now getting a closer look from Brewton-Parker College (NAIA) in Georgia. Cassidy finished with two goals and a team-leading three assists. Senior Allie Zingarelli led the team with four goals for the season, followed by forward Lydia Strickland, a sophomore at First Baptist Christian School, with three goals.
