When the sun came out Saturday afternoon, I walked over to the yard sale at the bus garage and parking lot. Everything went very well and the lunch also was good. Thanks for your support. It is very much appreciated. The next sale will be Saturday, April 23 on the golf course.
Across the street at Chillas Hall was the quilt show. No, I didn’t win the quilt again this year. The members of the Lanark Village Wandering Star Quilt Club said thank you again.
Here comes Peter Cottontail. Have a blessed and safe Easter. We will have Easter Mass at Sacred Heart Church at 7:30 a.m. Easter Sunday. There will be no Mass on Saturday. I had my First Communion on Holy Saturday in St. Louis in 1982.
Years back, the Community Church would have sunrise service at the water’s edge at the Lanark Village Boat Club. This year, the service will be at 7 a.m. at the Community Church, 39 Carlton Ave.
Monday, April 4, the membership meeting of the Lanark Village Association will be at 7 p.m. The board will meet at 6 p.m. and will be on standby in case of emergencies until the fall.

Be kind to one another, remember, and have a safe and happy spring and summer.
Until next time, God bless America and our troops, the poor, homeless and hungry.
