Carrabelle greeted this year’s Plein Air artists with a party on Monday night at the Carrabelle History Museum. About 40 art lovers gathered to greet guests of honor Charles Dickenson, Mary Erickson, Bill Farnsworth and Morgan Samuel Price after an afternoon of painting demonstrations and art on the waterfront. Refreshments were provided by the Carrabelle Artist Association. Above, visiting artist Dickenson shows Carrabelle artist Joan Matey paintings he created during his afternoon demonstration.
Artist Lori Putnam stopped in briefly and then headed back to the waterfront to paint. “It’s still light,” she said, “And I’d keep on painting even if it wasn’t.” - By Lois Swoboda.
