Linda Lee Cadwell, 52, of Tallahassee, passed away surrounded by her loved ones on Tuesday, Feb. 25, 2014.
Linda was born May 12, 1961, in Columbus, Ga. and grew up in Carrabelle. Her life was sometimes filled with challenging times, but she never complained and always had a smile on her face. Linda had sympathy and understanding for those in difficult situations often saying, “What have I to complain about.”
She was full of kindness and love for everyone and her laughter and smile will remain in our hearts. She is and always will be so precious to us. We will never forget that head of white blond hair that you could see miles away. We thank God that she has a new body in Christ with no more pain and suffering and has left this earthly world to watch over us now.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul “Bunk” Cadwell and Violet Cadwell, and her brother, Mark Cadwell.
Survivors include her sisters Christy Preston (Bill), Lynne Brazille and Nancy Abdilla; nieces Chrystal Cutrell (Nik), Kayla Preston, Sasha Buzbee and nephew Robert Stiner, III; great-nieces Reese Cutrell and Hadley Cutrell; her best friend, Lisa Riley, who spent time with Linda every day, and all her friends from Carrabelle and across Florida.
A celebration of her life with a reception to follow will be held at Goodwood Museum & Gardens in the Jubilee Cottage at 11 a.m., Sunday, March 9. All who loved and knew Linda are welcome to come and share in our memories of her.
