Usher completes USAF basic training

Air Force Airman 1st Class Randal C. Usher has graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas.

The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills. Airmen who complete basic training earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.

Usher is the son of Sharon, and stepson of Donald, Seagle, of Lecanto; and son of Randal, and stepson of Susan, Usher, of Carrabelle. He is also the brother of Chelsea K. Usher, of Lecanto.

He is a 2007 graduate of Citrus High School, in Inverness. He earned an associate degree in 2010 from Northwest Florida State College, in Niceville.
