Carrabelle hosts youth fishing tournament

            A free fishing tournament sponsored by the Carrabelle Beach RV Resort will be held Saturday, Aug. 23 for children age 15 and younger.

            Competition will include river and bay fishing only. There will be awards for nine categories of fish.

            Registration will be held at the beach resort beginning at 6 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 22. Any registrant who hasn't yet received a free rod and reel can get theirs on Aug. 22, and all registrants can pick up at that time their tourney t-shirt and boat bag full of goodies.

            Weigh-in will be at 4 p.m. on Aug. 23 at the RV Resort. Free hotdogs, drinks and chips will be served. For more information call (850) 544-2500.
