Youth Soccer League schedules sign-ups
Hey Kids! It is time once again to play some soccer!
Sign-ups for the Gulf/Franklin Youth Soccer League will be held Saturday, Aug. 23, from 8 a.m. until noon; and Saturday, Aug. 30, from 8 a.m. until noon; at the Fort Coombs Armory on 66 4th Street.
All boys and girls, between the ages of 4 and 14 should sign-up, for this fast, fun sport. Teams will be comprised of Franklin County kids, with practices held in Apalachicola and Games held in both Apalachicola and Port St. Joe.
If your child has never played before, please bring a copy of his or her birth certificate to sign-ups. A child must have turned 4 years of age prior to Aug. 1, 2008 to be eligible to participate. Additionally, a child must be under the age of 14 prior to Aug.1, 2008 to be eligible to participate.
