I am happy to report that the car wash at Sacred Heart Church went very well. The youth group from St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church wanted me again to thank you for your support.

Mother’s Day lunch at the Lanark Village Boat Club was very well attended also. The members wanted me to thank you again for having lunch with them. A big thanks to the members who prepared and served.

Members of the Lanark Village Boat Club will be hard at it again Saturday, May 17, and have a full breakfast ready for you. The door will open at 9 a.m. You can choose pancakes or French toast, my favorite, bacon or sausage, eggs, grits, coffee and cheese. Your donation of $5 will be collected at the door. Enjoy!

Later on Saturday evening, you can join in on the May birthday Bash at Camp Gordon Johnston American Legion Post 82. Party starts at 6 p.m., funs starts when you walk in the door. Party hearty!

Then on Sunday, May 18, we will have our monthly covered dish at Chillas Hall. The door will open at 12:30 p.m., the chow line forms at 1 p.m. Bring a dish to share, a donation, your growling stomach, and spend the afternoon with friends and neighbors. See ya there!
