Lanark News April 10, 2014: Annual yard sale last weekend in April

Saturday, April 19, your monthly sugar fix will be ready at the Lanark Village Boat Club from 9 to 11 a.m. You can choose from pancakes/French toast; bacon/sausage; eggs; grits; coffee and juice. You donation of $5 will be collected right inside the door. Enjoy!

Easter Sunday Mass at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 2653 US 98 in Lanark Village , will be at 7:30 a.m. Have a happy and blessed Easter.

We will have our monthly covered dish on Easter Sunday. Come on over to Chillas Hall before 1 p.m. and find a place for your dish to share. Serving begins at 1 p.m. We will have the drawing for the rod and reel. You can still buy tickets at the meal; $1 each or six for $5.

The weekend of April 25 through 27, will be another fun-filled one. Members of the Lanark Village Golf Club will hold their annual yard sale, Friday and Saturday, April 25 and 26. The sale will be held on our golf course. Just follow the crowd. Sale starts at 8 a.m. and closes at 4 p.m. both days. Come on by and look around. There’s bound to be something you simply can’t live without. See you there!

Time for the Riverfront Festival again. It will take place Saturday and Sunday, April 26 and 27. Lots of fun and good food. Come on down if you can.

Guess we’ll be at lunch this afternoon. Your donation of $5 will be collected at the desk at the Franklin County Senior Citizen’s Center in Carrabelle. Serving begins at noon. Be watching for you!

Monday, April 7, many of us gathered at the First Assembly of God Church to celebrate the life of another great lady of Carrabelle. Many pictures and family of Mary Fordham. Pray for Mary’s eternal life and for strength and comfort for her family.
