If you couldn’t find anything to join in on last Saturday, April 5, you really missed out.

All the members of the Lanark Village Association, the Lanark Village Golf Club, American Legion and ladies Auxiliary, Sons of the Legionnaires and Jim the deejay and company wish to thank you all for your continued support and a thank you goes to the volunteers who made it happen.

Tonya’s Hope Day at the Legion was the place to be seen. Can Thomas Lee Brannon barbeque or what? The sides weren’t bad either, ladies.

Guess it’s time to start thinking about your Easter outfit. When you get home from church and lunch Sunday, don’t put it too far back in the closet. You can you wear it again on the first Saturday of May, while you’re watching the Kentucky Derby and sipping your mint julep.

Thanks to Michael Daniels who found and turned in Eleanor’s necklace and the cashier. Eleanor is very happy.

Don’t forget Friday night is hamburger and chips at the Camp Gordon Johnston American Legion Post 82, and pizza on Sundays. Orders taken after 5 p.m. both nights. Call ahead for take out orders at 697-9998. Ya’ll come!
