Shirley Taylor, of Eastpoint, was honored Sunday afternoon with a birthday party given by her children on the occasion of her 80th birthday, Jan. 17. The Episcopal Church Women catered the affair in Trinity Episcopal Church’s Benedict Hall, with donations collected in lieu of gifts for the Apalachicola Municipal Library, one of the many civic cause with which Taylor has long been active.
