Bluegrass Fest Rolls through Wheelhouse

The Wheelhouse Restaurant in Apalachicola played host to a bluegrass festival June 21, featuring such performers as "Even Money," led by Skip Johns, "Kim and the Curs, "Calliope," and Charles Newberry. Admission was free, and the festival featured great food, kid's activities, craft vendors, and prizes for the best bluegrass dressed male and female. In photo above,. the Wakulla County band "Calliope" was among the performers, featuring at left, Shannon Egler, a freshman at Wakulla High School, and Chelsea Dix-Kessler, a sophomore at Wakulla High School. They were joined by moms Terri Egler and Debbie Dix.
