Maria W. Vickers

Maria W. Vickers, was born May 13, 1929 in Rodenburg, Germany. She passed away on Sunday, Jan. 15, 2012 at her home in Carrabelle at the age of 82.
Maria was a pediatric nurse in Germany before moving to America with her husband, Russell Vickers. Tragically, Russell was killed in a military exercise in 1964 during Vietnam. Maria moved to Carrabelle in 1970 and was a member of the Assembly of God.
She is survived by a dedicated companion, Charles Larry Bell, of Carrabelle.
Graveside funeral services will be held Friday, Jan. 20 at 11 a.m. at Evergreen Cemetery in Carrabelle.
Kelley Funeral Home is handling all arrangements.
