Carolyn Ann Sparks

Carolyn Ann Sparks, 63, died on Saturday, Nov. 8, 2009.

Sparks, the oldest of 14 siblings, was preceded in death by her loving husband, Jim Sparks “Sparky.”

She is survived by her five children, Cynthia Goldman, Quinn “Bubba” Goldman, Paula Armitage, Cecil “Joe” Pouncey and Garrett Pouncey; 16 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.

Carolyn was a pillar of the community. She served as branch manager for the library in the city of Carrabelle and served as a member of several committees in the community.

            Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon, Nov. 14 at the Carrabelle United Methodist Church. Carolyn’s ashes will be distributed to the three places dearest to her heart, Minnesota, North Carolina and Carrabelle.

She will be greatly missed by many people. Rest in peace, beloved mother, sister, and friend.
