Trinity Lutheran to Host Oct. 11 Octoberfest

Trinity Lutheran Church, on 3254 Coastal Highway, across from Wakulla High School in Crawfordville, will host an Octoberfest fundraiser on Saturday, Oct. 11.

The day will begin at 8 a.m. with pancake breakfast, the sale of baked good, and yard sale items. An Octoberfest lunch will consist of grilled bratwurst, hot dogs, sauerkraut, German potato salad, coleslaw and Black Forest Cake. Games for all ages and music all day will guarantee a goodtime for all.

Church members will be selling raffle tickets for a fabulous list of prizes from local merchants. Raffle drawings will be held every 15 minutes. The noon drawing will be for a $50 gift certificate from the Crooked River Grill, at 1 p.m. for a free golf game with cart from Wildwood Country Club and at 2 p.m. for a 55-gallon drum barbeque grill.

These are just a sample of the prizes folks may win and they do not have to be present to win. Tickets are $1 each or 6 for $5. Folks can view the list of prizes at www.lutheransonline.com/trinityofwakulla.
