Charles "Bubba" Fasbenner, who was shot and killed Thursday night in Apalachicola, will be laid to rest Wednesday afternoon in Magnolia Cemetery.

Funeral services are set for noon at the First Pentecostal Holiness Church in Apalachicola, officiated by Pastor Susan Roach. Viewing for family will be conducted from 10 to 11 a.m., and for friends from 11 a.m. to noon.

Arrangements are being conducted by Kelley Funerral Home.

A fish fry was held Monday to benefit the Fasbenner family . The benefit was from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Taylor's Building Supply in Eastpoint. .A bank account has been set up at Centennial Bank under the name Buddy Wayne Butler,  The family appreciates every dollar and moment of support that it has received from the community.

Capt. Chester Creamer said Apalachicola police officers Sgt. Wesley Creamer and Officer Ginger Creamer  discovered the body of  Fasbenner dead in the front yard of a home at 277 Timothy Simmons Road at about 9:51 p.m. on Thursday.
