Beshears to keynote King Day program

In celebration of the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. holiday, State Representative Halsey Beshears (R-Monticello) will be the keynote speaker at this Monday’s annual program.

Beshears will highlight the traditional program, to be held beginning at 11 a.m. at the Fort Coombs Armory on Monday, Jan. 20. The Armory is located at 66 Fourth Street in Apalachicola.

This year’s King Day theme is “Rise up! Reclaim the Dream!” The event is free and open to the public.
