Lindsey Kemper graduates from Gulf Coast Community College

Mr. and Mrs. Jim Kemper, of Apalachicola, are proud to announce the recent graduation of their daughter, Lindsey Kemper, from Gulf Coast Community College.

She received her associate of science degree in physical therapy assisting, graduating cum laude and as a member of the Phi Theta Kappa honor society.

The commencement exercises for the class of 2010 were held on Friday, May 7 at the Marina Civic Center in Panama City.

Lindsey is a 2007 graduate of Apalachicola High School, and plans to work in the field of physical therapy and hopes to continue her education at Florida State University in the near future.

Lindsey thoroughly enjoyed attending Gulf Coast Community College and wants to send a special "Thank You" to several of her professors and instructors whose assistance, guidance, and excellence in the Physical Therapy Assistant Program are to be commended. A special thank-you to Dr. Holly Gunning, Kelli Walsingham, Melinda Cumbaa, Lance Campbell, Gwen (Gigi) Kady, and Cheri d' Albertis.

A special thank-you for those along the way whose encouragement and support helped make her experience a positive one. First and foremost, Lindsey would like to thank God for his constant love and guidance. Her dad, mom, sister Heather, Marcus Stratton and grandparents Thomas and Clara Sapp, of Apalachicola; Jim and JoAnn Kemper, of Orlando, who supported her every step of the way; and Mrs. Denise Butler, for her special friendship and for always looking out for the students who attend Gulf Coast Community College.

And lastly, a very special "Thank You" to her aunt, Ms. Becky Sapp, and special friends Ms. Patsy O'Dell and Ms. Ellen Sansbury, who opened up their homes to Lindsey during her stay in Panama City. Angels are often overlooked but these three are truly angels on earth and their generosity, love and support help make this all possible.

Lindsey attends the First Pentecostal Holiness Church in Apalachicola, which is pastored by Sister Susan Roach. Thank you, Brother and Sister Roach, for all your prayers, guidance, and your love. You both are truly awesome!
