Card of Thanks – Emergency Medical Responders
My uncle collapsed while visiting from South Carolina and we called 911. The response was remarkable. Within eight minutes, Mr. John Chandler from the St. James-Lanark Volunteer Fire Department, as well as EMT’s Ms. Aimee Sapp and Ms. Hilda Pippin arrived. Their professional expertise and treatment enabled my uncle to get appropriate medical care and receive a diagnosis within four hours of when emergency medical services began.
The medical care provided by these three professionals was timely and excellent. My uncle’s doctor, who oversees his treatment in South Carolina, was impressed with the quality of medical care available here in Franklin County.
My family and I are thankful for the help we received from these emergency responders. We appreciate the Franklin County Commissioners’ support for Weems’ ambulance services and the Lanark Village facility. This is an invaluable community asset, both for those of us who live here and those who visit.
Sincerely,
Pauline Sullivan
