Monica to lead Carrabelle's Ascension Episcopal

            Ascension Episcopal Church in Carrabelle is proud to announce the selection of Mother Teri Monica as the new Priest-in-Charge.

            She will also be serving St. Teresa's Episcopal Church in Crawfordville.

            The Rev. Teri Monica graduated from St. Bernard's School of Theology in Albany, New York in Dec. 2007 with a master's of arts in pastoral studies.  Previously she received her master's of science in education and taught as a special education teacher in New York State.

            She arrived in Tallahassee in February along with her husband, The Rev. Ted Monica and her youngest daughter, Therese Whichello. Her husband is the rector of Holy Comforter Episcopal Church in Tallahassee and her daughter is studying music education at Florida State University. Mtr. Teri's oldest daughter, Tara, is a dental ceramist in Norfolk.

            The Mission Board and congregation warmly welcome Mother Teri and urge the Carrabelle community to join us in worship any Sunday morning at 10 a.m. and meet Mother Teri Monica.
