ABC School celebrates county
Elementary school students at the Apalachicola Bay Charter School celebrated the beauty and wonder of Franklin County in a fall program at Chapman auditorium Oct. 30. Singing songs written and adapted by director Temolynn Wintons, the classes from kindergarten through fifth grades sang out on everything from the "Three Little Oysters" to "The Turtle Family" to "Fall in Franklin County," a dramatized recitation of the four seasons of Apalachicola's ecosystems. The school will present its holiday musical Dec. 18. In photos, seventh grader Kristina Boyd, left, and eighth grader Katelyn Rowland perform in the ABC School band at the fall program.
