The Franklin County Senior Citizens Council, Inc. will hold its annual general membership meeting on Wednesday, Sept. 12 at 2 p.m. at the Franklin County Senior Center, 201 NW Avenue F in Carrabelle.

All Franklin County residents or property owners age 50 or older are eligible to vote at this meeting. A revision to the bylaws will be voted on, and nominees to the board of directors will be elected to four-year terms.

The council’s officers include Joanne Bartley as president; John Rees vice-president, and Gathana Parmenas, treasurer.

The Franklin County Senior Citizens Council, Inc. is a 501(c)3 nonprofit corporation which owns and operates the Franklin County Senior Center.
