When we line up at noon at Franklin County Senior Center in Carrabelle, we will be served Senate bean soup, cole slaw, cheese casserole and we’ll top it off with apple crisp. Your donation of $6 will be collected at the desk just inside Lindsay Hall. Thanks to all you faithful volunteers.
Didn’t get over to the boat club for breakfast Saturday. Dot Bless called to see if I was going and I told her no, but when they came home they brought me a French toast breakfast. Thank you!

Our week will start off with coffee at Chillas Hall. Brewing is done Monday through Friday, 9 to 11 a.m.
Monday evenings it’s off the Franklin County Senior Citizen’s Center for bingo. Early bird at 6 p.m. followed by regular at 7 p.m. Hope you win a few!
On Wednesday evenings, come on over to Chillas Hall and join your friends and neighbors for an evening of fun playing bingo. Bingo starts at 6:30 p.m. Snacks and soft drinks available at both bingos. Better bring your big purse or wallet to put all that money in.
Friday night, we all gather at Camp Gordon Johnston American Legion Post 82 and chomp down on one of those huge hamburgers with chips. Your $6 donation will be collected at the bar. Don’t forget to take a chance or two on the pastry raffle. Orders taken between 5 and 7 p.m. For carry-out call 697-9998. Enjoy!
Members of the Lanark Village Golf Club will prepare and serve spaghetti, with or without meatballs, salad, bread; tea or coffee and dessert. Serving is from 5 to 8 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 27 at Chillas Hall. Your donation of $8 will be collected at the door. Everyone welcome.

On Sunday night, its back to Post 82 for pizza from 5 to 7 p.m. You can order one piece for a donation of $1; whole pizza for a donation of $8 and pizza on wheels takes a donation of $10. Huffin’ and puffin’ is done on the screened-in porch during serving hours Friday and Sunday nights. Thank you.
Mark your calendars for Sunday, Feb. 11. Lanark Village Boat Club members will have an ice cream social, starting at 1 p.m. to thank all of our volunteers.
Be kind to one another, check in on the sick and housebound and remember, keep smiling. You may not feel any better, but everyone else will wonder what you’re up to.
