Aubrey Paul Golden, called "Paul,” passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 25, 2017 in Port St. Joe at age 91.

Born in Pike County, Alabama, he moved to Florida at the age of 6 and attended Chapman High School In Apalachicola before moving to Bay County. He was a mechanic and enjoyed fishing and hunting.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Matthew Randolph and Mary Elizabeth Golden, of Panama City; his brothers J. K. Golden, Sr. of Panama City, D. C. Golden, Sr. of Phenix City, Alabama, Q. P. Golden of Apalachicola, and Doyle Golden, of Panama City; his sisters, Mary Rue Golden Smith, of Argos, Indiana, Dorothy Dimple Golden Gates, of Panama City, and Pauline Golden, who died as a child.

Paul was survived by numerous nieces and nephews and a brother-in-law, Dale S. Smith of Argos, Indiana.

Graveside services were held Monday afternoon, Oct. 30 at Magnolia Cemetery conducted by the Rev. Susan Roach. Interment followed.

Services are under the direction of Comforter Funeral Home.
