Each week the Apalachicola Times presents Seahawk Artistry, a feature showcasing the creative endeavors of art students in the Seahawk Arts program at Franklin County School in Eastpoint.
This week we feature third grader Rashaud Keith, and his work “The Real Reshaud.” Third grade students were to use colorful papers and yarn to create self-portraits with emphasis on facial features in the correct location.
“I have a silver tooth and wanted to make silver teeth but I didn't see any silver paper so I used gold paper,” said Rashaud. “I got a gold necklace from my mom and wanted to put it in my picture. I chose black yarn to make my hair look real. I like to draw and I usually draw faces.”
