The Franklin County girls golf team upped its record to 5-0, with wins last week over Wakulla High School girls team and then wins over boys teams from Wakulla and Rickards.

On Sept. 6 on their home course of St. James Bay, the Lady Hawks downed Wakulla 211-255, led by junior Melanie Collins with 35.

Junior Alexus Johnson had a 52, followed by freshman Hollie Larkin with 57, seventh grader Emma Gragg with 67 and freshman Summer Cepull with a personal best 68.

On Sept. 7, the girls tallied a 205 to defeat the Wakulla boys team, which had 208, and the Rickards boys team, which scored 248.

Johnson led with 37, followed by Johnson with 47, Larkin with 52, and Cepull with 68.
