You and I are blessed to live in this wonderful place, Carrabelle. As a lifelong resident, I have witnessed substantial changes to our little town, some positive and some needing improvement. Through each change, my family and I have not only lived in Carrabelle, we have worked, played, went to church, watched our children and now our grandchildren grow.
Let me take this opportunity to familiarize you with my employment background. I was a State of Florida Forest Service wildland firefighter supervisor/manager for 30 years, St. Joe Company land management tech for five years, eight months, and M&M Services co-owner/manager/operator for eight years.
Volunteering with numerous organizations including Franklin County Planning & Zoning member/chairman for 12-15 years, Carrabelle Volunteer Fire Department captain/firefighter for 25 years, appointed to the Area of Critical State Concern board for eight years, member of Franklin County Soil & Water Board for 12 years have only added to the knowledge and experiences I will use to assist me in working with our citizens for the most beneficial solutions for the city of Carrabelle.
As a hands-on, self-motivated person who works diligently on all tasks, I strive to use all my knowledge, skills and experiences in accomplishing a positive outcome. I am knowledgeable and up to date on the happenings within our community and our city government, enough to know our city faces many challenges currently and for the future.
I am now retired and at this point of my life I would appreciate the opportunity to serve the citizens of Carrabelle and provide an experienced, positive and professional voice for the people. I will be a dedicated and dependable representative of our citizens. With your input and support, I am up for these challenges and look forward to serving the great people of Carrabelle.
