The parents of JessicaGrace De Vries and David Charles Gunter are pleased to announce the engagement and upcoming wedding of their children.
De Vries, daughter of Gordon and Sandra Adkins, of St. George Island, and the late George De Vries III, and Gunter, son of Ben and Janet Gunter of Tallahassee, will be married August 26 in Tallahassee.
De Vries is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Henry Durbin, of Memphis, Tennessee, and George De Vries II and the late Evelyn De Vries, of Grand Rapids, Michigan.
Gunter is the grandson of Mrs. Rochelle Brigance and the late Charles Lamar Brigance, the late Mr. and Mrs. William Barnes Langley and the late John Harry Gunter.
De Vries, a 2011 graduate of Houston High School in Germantown, Tennessee, earned a bachelors in arts and sciences in broadcast journalism from Mississippi State University in 2015. She works as a promotions producer at WCTV in Tallahassee.
Gunter, a 2007 graduate of Chiles High School, earned a bachelor of science in economics in 2013 from Florida State University. He assists in operating a family-owned business Capital City Lawn Care & Landscaping in Tallahassee.
The ceremony will be held at The Southwood House in Tallahassee the evening of Aug. 26. The couple will honeymoon in Cancun.
