Fa’Letta Leown Davis, 19, of Apalachicola died Wednesday, July 5 from injuries sustained by an automobile accident.

There will be a funeral service held for Fa’Letta on Wednesday, July 12 at the Fort Coombs Armory at noon, with burial at Magnolia Cemetery, both in Apalachicola. Miss Fa’Letta Davis will lie in state at the Armory from 9 to 11 a.m. on Wednesday.

She leaves to forever cherish her loving memories, her parents: Virginger Davis and Lloyd Davis, Sr. (Tronda); two brothers, Lloyd Davis, Jr. and Isaiah Davis; three sisters, Danielle Brown (Elijah), Megan Davis (Marcus), and Nyashia Davis; uncles, Willie Clark, Jr. (Freddie Mae), James Peterson, Paul Bankston (Carla), Larry Clark (Hattie), Clayvro Clark (Cynthia), and George Davis (Marzetta); aunts, Donna Ferguson, Penny Riddick (Charles), Piquieta White (Bobby, Sr.), and Sherrerlyn Clark; great uncle, Lucious Peterson (Jeanette); great aunts, Alice Williams, Dorothy Williams, and Rosa Custer; god-grandmother, Rose McCoy (Thomas); nieces, A’Zaria Manning, Zhuri Manning, and Ashurean Brown; cousins: Bobby White, Jr., Tamesiya White, Nahshon Bankston (Cortni), Carl J. Bankston (LaNay), Sabrina Jones, Tareava Jones, Adrian Pierce, Rahkeim Pierce, Sheldon Walker, and Deniser Clark; the Class of 2016; a close family friend, Rebecca Floyd; and a host of other cousins and loving friends.
