Martha Johnson Wilson, beloved wife, mother and grandmother, passed away peacefully Wednesday, June 28, 2017 at her home in Pascagoula, Mississippi, at 77 years of age.

She was born Dec. 12, 1939 and was preceded in death by her mother, Amanda "Mandy" Johnson; her father Joseph "Capt. Buck" Johnson; her husband of 35 years, Joseph Cecil Wilson; her daughter, Belinda Marie Wilson, her grandson Keaton Joseph Castoe and her sisters, Nora S. Hunnings and Jessie Lee Ronquillo.

She is survived by her children, Deborah Ann Martin of Pascagoula, Mississippi, Kenneth Ray Wilson (wife Kendra) of Moselle, Mississippi,, Kevin Roy Wilson of Prentiss, Mississippi, and Rhonda Lee Wilson of Ocean Springs, Mississippi; her sisters Shirley Ann Wooten of Louisiana and Janie J. Wilson (husband Jerry) of Apalachicola; her 12 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Martha was born and raised in Apalachicola, where she attended Chapman High School. She was the former owner of Blue Willow Antiques and Art Gallery, was a member of the chamber of commerce and was also a member of Bethel Assembly Of God church. She was a deeply devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She loved studying genealogy, antiquing and had a beautiful voice for singing. She also loved being surrounded by loved ones.

Funeral services provided by Kelley Funeral Home, 149 Avenue H, Apalachicola.

Visitation is on Sunday, July 2 at the funeral home; 5 to 6 p.m. is reserved for family and 6 to 7 p.m.

Memorial services are Monday, July 3, at 2 p.m. at the First Pentecostal Holiness Church in Apalachicola.
