Each week, the Apalachicola Times presents Seahawk Artistry, a regular feature showcasing the creative talents of school kids from throughout the county. This week we present Ansley Savage, a student in Stephanie Howze-Jones’ fifth grade class. This student artist used watercolors and paper in creating this abstract artwork.

“I was inspired to make this design from a picture I saw in a magazine,” said Savage. “My favorite art activity is painting.”

Works of art are permanently displayed on the walls of the newly created Seahawk Arts Gallery, located in building 600, which is open to the public from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. weekdays.
