Each week, the Apalachicola Times presents Seahawk Artistry, a regular feature showcasing the creative talents of school kids from throughout the county. To view more student work visit lcountryman.wixsite.com/seahawkarts.

This week we present Ryan Hutchins, a second grader in Jamie Gunter’s classroom. The student artist created this cut paper creation of a fruit creature, using cool colors, to celebrate the school's Fresh Fruits and Vegetables program.

“I made the elephant out of watermelons and it is drinking water from the watering hole,” said Gunter. “I like art because we do fun activities.”
