Missed you at lunch last Thursday at the Franklin County Senior Citizens Center. Went out to put out the wheelbarrow for the groceries and the humidity really got to me. My neighbor Suzanne Zimmerman brought me a piece of the quiche. I hope everybody enjoyed it.

The Lanark Village Golf Club will not have the first Saturday breakfast. We will have breakfast at the hall and Heather Crum Riley will be our hostess. Heather is seeking the spot for supervisor of elections. The door will open at Chillas Hall from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 1.

The first Saturday Dance will be held at the Lanark Village Boat Club. The door will be open from 7 to 9 p.m. Jim the DJ will provide the music for your dancing and listening pleasure.

Coming Attractions. On Saturday, Oct. 8, Frank Stephens will be at Chillas Hall from 4 to 6 p.m. Frank is running for superintendent of schools in Franklin County. He is looking forward to meeting you and answering any questions you may have.
