On Sunday afternoon, Elaine Kozlowsky again hosted the annual Philaco Meet and Greet tea, with about 40 women attending the event at her Eastpoint home.

Judy Cook read the poem “Make new friends but keep the old” as the devotional and Marilyn Hogan read a brief history of the Philaco Women’s Club to the group.

Maxine Creamer, elected Philaco president in May, welcomed eight potential members, and committee chairs gave a brief talk on the functions their group performs.

The meeting ended with a finger food buffet prepared by club members and a chance for everyone to chat.
