Susie A. Scott, of Chauvin, and Jason P. Foret, of Bourg, are to be united in holy matrimony on June 8, 2018. Officiating the ceremony will be friend and chaplain, Scott Roten.
The couple became engaged in Tennessee.
The bride is the daughter of Morris J. and Shirline A. Scott, of Chauvin. She is the granddaughter of the late Marie Delores "DeLo" Parfait and Margie Scott and the late Louis "L.J" (Paw) Scott.
The groom is the son of Marlene Foret and the late Reggie Foret, of Bourg, and Diana "Granny" Ledet, of Holden. He is the grandson of the late Beldon and Emsy Foret.
The bride’s gown is an elegant lace wedding dress with cathedral veil. The bride’s bouquet made by the bride in memory of her aunt and grandparents in all Marine colors and will include a butterfly, stargazer lily, calla lily and handful of wooden roses, which represent the love and thankfulness of those carried within their hearts.
The bride will be attended by her maid of honor, Robin Brunet Falcon, best friend of the bride. Bridesmaids will be Liza Parfait, Joann Scott, Savannah Bergeron, Cathy Kadlec, Abbie Fanguy and Shelly Bijeaux.
Junior bridesmaids are Cailyn Jai Scott, Samantha Mable-Marie Scott and Arianna Renee Foret.
The groom’s best man will be David Foret, brother of the groom.The other attendants will include Tommy Summerville, Hale Roundtree, Bradley Bowie, John Schouest, Josh Bowie and Chris Bijeaux.
Junior groomsmen are Kade Giroir, Landon James Foret and Connor James Foret.
The flower girl will be Adalynn Grace "Addie" Foret. The ring bearer will be Elijah Parfait.
The groom serves as a Marine.

After returning from their honeymoon in Cozumel, Mexico, the couple will reside in Houma.
