Dear Mrs. Staff:

The American Legion, Camp Gordon Johnston Post 82 Executive Board and Post members extend our sincere apologies for any embarrassment or disrespect to you and your family concerning the unfortunate incident that occurred on Friday, March 7 at the Camp Gordon Johnston Days social event at Post 82.

The decision by one member to not allow you to attend the event does not reflect the opinion of the general membership. The matter is being addressed by the Executive Board and corrective actions will be taken to prevent this from recurring in the future. We hope you will accept our heartfelt apologies and not let this incident tarnish your view of Post 82 or The American Legion.
