Joyce Guyer is a soprano artist/teacher with credits including the Metropolitan Opera. She will be accompanied on Sunday, March 3 by Frank Kowalski on clarinet and David Kalhous on piano. The concert begins at 4 p.m. at Trinity Episcopal Church. Admission is a $5 donation.

It’s that time again. On Saturday, May 2 come to St. George Island for the 31st annual Chili Cookoff and Auction. This is the largest regional chili cookoff in the nation. Saturday at 8 a.m. come join in the Red Pepper Run. Crock pot judging is from 10 to 11 a.m.; the auction begins at 11 a.m. with Harry Arnold holding the hammer; Miss Chili Pepper and Mr. Hot Sauce will be chosen beginning at 12:15 a.m. and taste awards are presented at 3:30. Admission is $5. Proceeds benefit the St. George Island Volunteer Fire Department.
Woodville Civil War Reenactment
