Thanks Mrs. Gander, for taking a stand

To the Editor

            This is special for Mrs. Joann Gander and then to the Franklin County school board members. If in any way my speaking at a board meeting, or anything you heard that I said that may sound as a direct personal attack, I am writing this as a letter of apology. I express my regrets and I am sorry if it went out that way.

            I really do respect the positions you all are in and also as a person, but I do have a love for our children in this county. It is more than football for a few; also it is more than softball and baseball. I believe now more than ever we can have a youth center.

            Mrs. Gander, the men of Love Center sing a song that says "Stand." Mrs. Gander, that's one thing you did through it all, good and bad times. You took a stand. May God bless you and keep you in your daily walk.
