Lanark News
This month is rolling right along. The 46th annual Florida Seafood Festival is in the history books. Veteran’s Day was yesterday. Now we look forward to Thanksgiving, and we are waiting to see what Ida has in store for us.
We won’t be able to enjoy those delicious pancakes and French toast this month, but the members of the Lanark Village Golf Club will be glad to take your order in December.
Thanksgiving dinner at Chillas Hall will be on Thursday. Oct. 26. Serving begins at 10 a.m. Bring a dish to share, a donation, and your hunger pangs, and have a blessed afternoon with us. There is a sign-up sheet in the hall.
You are invited to join us on Thursday, Nov. 19 at the Senior Center in Carrabelle for our annual Thanksgiving dinner. Serving begins at noon, and is always held in memory of the late Julia Mae Putnal. Hope to see you there.
Happy 26th anniversary to Jim and Mary Ann Bove, Rick and Barbara Lasher, Charles and Carolyn Smith and Herb and Joyce Napora.
