FHP plans saturation patrols this weekend

The Florida Highway Patrol will be conducting saturation patrols from Friday. June 19, at 9 p.m. until 3 a.m. on Saturday, June 20 in Franklin County.

The saturation patrols or "wolf-packs" will concentrate on impaired drivers. Realizing the dangers of impaired driving, the Florida Highway Patrol wants to educate the public, remove impaired drivers from the roadways of Florida and help ensure a safe driving environment for all of Florida's citizens.

A DUI "wolf-pack" helps address all of the above mentioned needs.
