Well, didn’t I forget to tell you about the circle drive in front of the senior center? There is also a roof over it, so you can drop off your passengers at the front door.
With your support, members of the Lanark Boat Club served up 75 plates at the pancake brunch last Saturday. Thank you very much!
Guess you forgot about our covered dish lunch this month. Had a small crowd, and lots of food and fellowship. The covered dish is on the third Sunday of the month, at 1 p.m., at Chillas Hall. Hope you will join us next month on March 21. Bring a dish to share, and/or a donation. Be glad to see ya!
This weekend, all of us, and our visitors, are in for a double treat.
On Saturday, Feb. 27 you can enjoy a good, full breakfast. It’s our 18th annual community breakfast, at Chillas Hall. Door opens at 8 a.m. and serving is until 11 a.m. Good food, great service and fellowship. Your donation of $6 will be collected at the door. See ya there!
Then, on Sunday, Feb. 28, you can drive over to St. Patrick’s fellowship hall, in Apalachicola, for our annual spaghetti dinner, sponsored by members of Knights of Columbus Council #1648. Serving begins at 11:30 a.m., and your donation of $8 will be collected at the door. You can enjoy the famous dinner inside the hall, or take home the delicious meal. Hope you can join us. Anthony Taranto will be on hand to guide the ones making his famous sauce. St. Patrick’s Church and fellowship hall are on the corner of Sixth Street and Avenue C in Apalachicola. Please try to join us.
Don’t forger the Wednesday night Bingo for the Bus at Chillas Hall. Doors open at 5 p.m.; bingo begins at 6:30 p.m.
