Crazy about mathematics

Over 200 Franklin County School students participated in an online math competition last month entitled Florida Math Mania Challenge, which tests speed and accuracy in mastering math problems. The school awarded certificates to the top point getters in each of the participating grade levels. Pictured above, from left, are the winners, eighth grader Carla Dean, fifth grader Kayla Pilger, seventh grader Kaylee Edwards, sixth grader Dy’Quan Gordon, second grader Takiah Ford, fourth grader India Sewell, and third grader Duncan Whaley. Dean Eddie Joseph stands in back. Pilger was the overall Franklin County School champion with over 6,600 points scored in just two days.
