Mary Catherine McNamee, Ben Bloodworth engaged

Mary Catherine McNamee, of Tallahassee, and Benjamin Thomas Bloodworth, of St. George Island, are pleased to announce their engagement.

Ms. McNamee is the daughter of Ms. Claire Leavy, of Leesburg, Ga., and Mr. and Mrs. Michael Clarence McNamee, of Dothan, Ala.

Mr. Bloodworth is the son of Ms. Mary Helms Bloodworth, of Port St. Joe, and Mr. Ronald Michael Bloodworth, of Apalachicola.

The bride-elect is a 1997 graduate of Lee County High School. She received her bachelor of fine arts and master of public administration degree from Valdosta State University. She is employed by Northwestern Mutual Financial Network. Ms. McNamee is the granddaughter of Ms. Clarice Jones Leavy and the late Carl Ferdinand Leavy, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Thomas James McNamee.

Mr. Bloodworth is a 1989 graduate of Fort Walton Beach High School. He received his bachelor of science from Florida State University. He is self-employed in the real estate business and the publishing business. Mr. Bloodworth is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin Francis Bloodworth and the late Mr. and Mrs. George Helms.

A Sept. 2010 wedding is planned in Apalachicola.
